Accessibility

The features in place, the limits of our checks and how to report an access barrier.

DwellPatch aims to make its guides usable on different devices and with different ways of navigating. This statement describes the features present in the site, the limits of our checks and how to report a barrier.

Accessibility is ongoing work. We do not claim a formal conformance certification or that every browser, device and assistive technology combination has been tested.

Navigation and reading

Pages use headings, landmarks and a skip link to the main content. Links and controls have visible keyboard focus. The mobile menu uses a button with an expanded state, and search fields have accessible labels.

Article contents links lead to section headings. You can also use the article library, topic archives and search to find a guide. Main text and navigation are available without an animation or an account.

Layouts adapt to smaller screens. Wider tables can scroll within the article area so their columns remain available. If a table is difficult to use, the surrounding explanation should still provide context for what its columns mean.

Images, movement and forms

Informative article images have alternative text. Decorative illustrations use empty alternative text so they do not repeat nearby labels. Supporting diagrams are accompanied by captions or explanations where their limits matter.

The site respects reduced motion preferences. Fonts are served from the site, and page content does not require third party media players.

The contact form uses visible labels, required field instructions and status messages. A direct email option is available at info@dwellpatch.com if the form itself creates a barrier.

What we check and what remains uncertain

Launch checks include desktop and narrow screen layouts, basic keyboard navigation, headings, labels and image attributes. Automated checks and visual review can find problems, but they do not establish that every user can complete every task.

Linked manufacturer documents, retailer pages and other external resources are controlled by their publishers. Some may use formats or interfaces that are harder to access. Tell us which source you need so we can investigate an alternative way to explain or locate the information.

Report an accessibility barrier

Email info@dwellpatch.com or choose Website issue in the contact form. Include the page address, the task you were trying to complete and the point where you became unable to continue.

Your browser, device or assistive technology can help us reproduce the issue if you are comfortable sharing it. You do not need to disclose a disability, diagnosis or private device information. If a particular format would help you understand the material, describe that request.

We use these reports to investigate barriers and prioritize corrections. We cannot promise a specific resolution time or compatibility with every external document, but a precise report helps identify what needs attention.
