Some DwellPatch links can earn the site a commission when a reader makes a qualifying purchase. This page explains that relationship, how to recognize a shopping recommendation and what it does not establish about a product.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
What an affiliate link does
An Amazon affiliate link includes information that allows Amazon to attribute a qualifying purchase to DwellPatch. If the purchase qualifies under the program, the site may receive a commission. The purchase takes place with the retailer, under its current prices and terms.
You do not need to buy anything to read our guides. We do not take payment for Amazon orders, fulfill them or control their shipping and returns. Order questions belong with the retailer.
A source link and a shopping link have different jobs
A manufacturer manual or official rule is linked to help you verify information. A retailer link may instead identify a product discussed for a particular task. A product being mentioned in a technical example is not automatically a recommendation to purchase it.
When an article includes affiliate shopping links, the relationship should be disclosed near the relevant recommendation. This general disclosure provides context but does not replace a clear notice where you are making a purchase decision.
The site’s affiliate links use sponsored and nofollow attributes for search engines. Those attributes describe the commercial relationship; they do not verify product quality or compatibility.
The recommendation still needs evidence
A commission does not establish that a part fits your home or that an installation is appropriate. Recommendations should explain the defined use, the supporting documentation and the conditions the owner must check.
A useful measuring tool does not validate an entire replacement assembly. A model label or retailer category also does not override the applicable manufacturer instructions. The product research policy explains how those questions are considered.
Our coverage is based on research unless actual testing is specifically documented. We do not claim personal installation experience because a product has an affiliate link. The editorial methodology describes the site’s AI assisted production and review limits.
Check the current offer before buying
Models, bundles, sellers, prices, stock and instructions can change. Confirm the exact variant, what is included, the current total price and the retailer’s return conditions before ordering. A researched link can become outdated after publication.
If the offered model differs from the article, revisit the application rather than assuming equivalence. Let us know about the mismatch through the contact page or info@dwellpatch.com. Do not send payment details or account credentials.
Advertising and other arrangements
DwellPatch’s current public site does not include third party display advertising or analytics scripts. If such services are introduced, the site’s disclosures and privacy information need to reflect the actual arrangement.
A future sponsored placement, supplied sample or other material commercial relationship would also need an appropriate disclosure. This page does not imply that those arrangements currently exist.
For information about external sites, contact messages and technical request data, read the privacy policy. Send questions about a specific commercial link with the article URL so we can identify the recommendation.
